NEKO CASE: MIDDLE CYCLONE

Inspired by one of my favourite musicians, Neko Case. Her 2009 album Middle Cyclone featured Neko posing on the hood of a Mercury Cougar brandishing a sword (badasss!)

Emulating a vintage pin-up/comic book style, the album art reminded me of 1965 cult film “Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!” which starred karate-kicking dancers and muscle cars in the California desert.
