Green Man
Titled “Put A Bird On It”, this piece was for my first group exhibition show at Toronto’s Nook Collective (July 2013.)
The show’s theme was “the Green Man”, a mythical figure seen as a symbol of “rebirth” and the emergence of a new spring season.

The project was comprised of layered paper cutouts, built into a shadowbox frame.

Each paper piece was handcut and glued.

(My design of the Green Man was a mix of The Dude from "The Big Lebowski" and the Abominable Snowman from the old Bugs Bunny cartoon.)
