FIELD TRIP
I’m a big fan of DKNG Studios (known for gig posters among many things) so I jumped at the chance to participate in their Skillshare class, which was designing a concert poster for a real or fictional musical artist or event.
I chose the “Field Trip” festival, to mark the 10th anniversary of the Arts & Crafts record label. (And unlike most music events, this was open to families and kids!)

Taking inspiration from the family themed event, I wanted to depict kid-friendly characters on a school bus trip.

I was influenced by some of my favourite vintage children's book illustrators, including Richard Scarry, Alain Grée, and Alice and Martin Provensen.
